She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Stephen and Mary Moore (Bakey); her parents, William Henry and Mable Belle Moate (Moore); her children, William Smith (Loretta) of Winnebago and Julie Smith of Winnebago; her grandsons, Donald Smith (Nicole) of Pingree Grove and Jacob Anderson (Laura) of Sandwich; her great grandchildren, Austin Smith of Winnebago, Donny, Miakoda and Benny Smith of Pingree Grove; her sister-in-law Beverly Hayenga of Winnebago; her husband Donald Smith; her grandson James "Zack" Smith; and her brother Lloyd Moate. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for Middle Creek Presbyterian Church.
