Dino Vayr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 86, Dino Vayr of Winnebago, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dino Vayr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Vayr and Luigia Vayr (Rosetto); his father-in-law Alfred C. DePew; his son Jeffrey Brian Vayr; his son-in-law Jeff Poulsen; and his siblings-in-law, Dorland Carlson, Scott Estabrook, David DePew and Kathryn Dornbusch.
He is survived by: his wife Marie DePew; his children, Donald Vayr (Kim) of Winnebago and Amy Vayr-Poulsen of Forsyth, GA; his grandchildren, Kristin Burns (Daniel) of Winnebago, Kayla Marquez (Andres) of Winnebago, Bryan Vayr (Emily) of Naperville, IL, Paige Poulsen of Kenosha, WI and Abby Poulsen of Forsyth, GA; his sisters, Lucia Carlson of Ft. Myers, FL, Anna Vayr (Larry Bowman) of Longmont, CO and Maria Estabrook of Ft. Myers; his mother-in-law Lillian Bennett of Spring Grove, IL; and his brother-in-law Dean DePew of Spring Grove. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
