He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Charles and Gladys Mae Van Sickle (Brussel); his wife Margaret L. Bowden; his children, Thomas Van Sickle (Penny Miller), Melanie Lukasik (Steven) and Theodore Van Sickle (Susan); his grandchildren, Shane Van Sickle (Renae), Maigan Dodson (Chris), Cassie, Oscar, Alex, Maggie and Carley Van Sickle; his great grandchildren, Brynn, Libby Van Sickle, Max Miller, Anna, Ella and Henry Dodson; and his sisters, Marjorie Day (Roger) and Carol. He was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the Winnebago Community Historical Society.
