It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Cowman of Winnebago, Illinois, born in Rochester, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wesley Stevenson and Margaret Stevenson; her sons, Michael Cowman (Beth), Bruce Cowman and Gregory Cowman (Sharon); her grandchildren, Matthew Cowman (Jessica), Tracy Schoenhard (Jamison), Praise Huhn (Preston), Daniel Cowman, Marissa Daugherty (Eric), Serena Huab (Ray), Erin Gobble (K. C.), Shanna Cowman, Jesse Cowman (Samantha) and Wesley Cowman; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lucas, Joshua, Abigail Cowman, Bayleigh, Abygail, Hannah, Hunter Huhn, Damen, Larson, Owen, Landon Daugherty, Talia, Micah, Zayah Huab, Dylan, Wade and Tyler Gobble; her husband Franklin Cowman; and her sisters, Joan Tucker and Juanita Truax. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
