She was predeceased by: her husband Marlin; and her parents, Walter Fahrney and Helen Fahrney (Hirsbrunner). She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Guth (Greg), Becky Martinez (Felipe) and Bonnie Lorfeld-Gray (Jeff); her granddaughter Audrey Moser; her brother Arlie Fahrney (Susan); and her grandchildren, H. Joseph Guth, David, Angela, Christina Martinez, Betsy and Cassie Gray.

A memorial has been established in her name for the Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport, IL.
