Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Benjamin DeGutis of Winnebago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 99, on February 4, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lithuanian and Barbara Veronica DeGutis Sr. (Zigmund); his wife Jean DeGutis; his son Stephen DeGutis; and his brothers, Donald, Nick, Joseph DeGutis and John Foltynewiciz.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda King (Norman) of Winnebago; his daughter-in-law Judith DeGutis of Rockford; his grandchildren, Craig DeGutis (Michelle), Mark DeGutis (Erika Sutherland), Christopher DeGutis (Jenn Dailey), Ryan DeGutis, Joel DeGutis (Megan) and Carrie DeGutis; his sisters, Ann Wroblewski and Berniece Glupczynski; his sister-in-law Kay Mauk; and his friend Karen Montgomery. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the First Presbyterian Church of Winnebago.
