With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Artyst Joyce Alberts of Winnebago, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyllys James and Anna Maria Gross (Christianson); her sister Arlene Langholf; and her brother-in-law Dale Straley. She is survived by: her former husband Darrell Weslie Boomgarden; her spouse Lee Alberts; her children, Guy Boomgarden (Kelly) of McFarland, WI, Sheila Spielman (Brian) of Winnebago and Bradley Boomgarden (Pam) of Winnebago; her grandchildren, Nicholas Boomgarden (Brittany), Alex Boomgarden, Bre, Anna Hughes (Matt), Benjamin Spielman, Brennan Spielman (Ashley), Branigan Theden (Gunnard), Bradley Boomgarden Jr., Zachary Boomgarden and Isiah Boomgarden (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brayden, Connor Hughes, Keira, Emma, Declan Spielman, Briar, Britton Theden and Harper Boomgarden; her sisters, Alta Straley of Winnebago and Anna Gambrel (Gene) of Winnebago; and her brother-in-law Eugene Langholf of Pecatonica. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
