He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Colleen; and his sisters, Betty and Mary Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Brach (Stauffer); his children, Bill (Terry), Anne Doyle (Ed), Mary Britton (Carl), Jim Don (Sue) and Tim (Colleen); and his grandchildren, Keri, Amy Kelly, Meghan, Stacy, Mike, Billy, Brandon, Heather, Maggie and Ethan. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
