He was predeceased by: his parents, Janos Ritter and Irmgard Ritter. He is survived by: his wife Emma; his sons, Kristopher (Amy) and Neal (Meaghan); his grandchildren, Elena, Ian, Anneliese, Philip and Nathanael Ritter; and his siblings, Wolfgang Ritter (Eva), Hartmut Ritter, Uwe Ritter and Annette Ritter-Wax.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wheaton Cemetery (1209 Warrenville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Holy Covenant Church (Bethany Chapel) (404 N President St, Wheaton, IL 60187).
