He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Frances Jane Pierce (Wallace); his former wife Lou Ann Logan; his daughter Vanessa Jane Cook; his siblings, William Pierce, Ruth, Wincie and Pat; and his half-sister Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Neal (Donnell) of Windsor; his daughter Rebecca Ann Thompson (Charles) of Windsor; his stepson Thomas Buckley (Susan) of Orange Beach, AL; his grandchildren, Michael, David Thompson, Maria Wempy and Jason Cook; his sisters-in-law, Thelma Pruitt (Bill) of New Harmony, IN and Luann Pierce of Evansville, IN; and his son-in-law Gene Cook of Salem. He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
