He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Bartel and Ina K. Bartel (Birkey); and his sisters, LaVonne Mae and Carol Anne Ohman. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Bartel (Danenhour); his children, Steve Bartel of Overland Park, KS, Sarah Bradley (Mark) of Wheaton, IL and Tim Bartel (Mia) of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Kevin Bartel (Meghan), Drew Bartel (Becca), Haley Bartel, Kate Schlickman (Eric), Kyle Bradley (Dariana), Caroline Sundberg (Kirk), Chris Bradley, Daniel Bartel and Isabela Bartel; his sister Joan Stough (Jim); his brother-in-law Bob Ohman; and his grandson Ministries.
