She was predeceased by: her parents, Barcley Raymond and Selma Clarenda Hardwick (Stephens); her husband Max Ballinger; and her brothers, Charles and Floyd Hardwick.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Ballinger (Sheryl) of Mattoon, IL and Ron Ballinger (Karla) of Mattoon, IL; her granddaughters, Michelle Ballinger (Jamin McQuillan) of Belleville, IL and Ashley Clodfelder (Jason) of Charleston, IL; her great grandchildren, Averie and Aubrie Clodfelder of Charleston, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Hardwick and Faye Huckelberry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice House.
