He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Harl and Evelyn Harl Sr. (Dunn); his former wife Phyllis June Cole Seals; his son Michael Lewis Harl; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Aliese Harl and Jason Paxton; and his son-in-law David Harrelson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Harl of Windsor; his children, Gene Harl of Shelbyville, Carol Harrelson of Windsor and Cheryl Wright (John) of Windsor; and his siblings, Pete Harl of Evansville, IN, Penny Fultz (John) of Bethany and Crystal Harl of Sullivan. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
