He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald A. Hyland and Betty E. Hyland (Gaston); and his brother Brad Hyland. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Lee Uphoff; his children, Gavin Wright of Mt. Zion and Amber Harlin (Jeremy) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Paige Harlin of Bethany, Grace Harlin of St. Louis, Miles Harlin of Findlay, Lucas Parker of Sullivan, Lorelei Parker of Sullivan and Lexie Wright of Sullivan; his brother Dirk Hyland (Donna) of Windsor; and his brother-in-law Scott Uphoff (Janet) of Bloomington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals Shelby County, Wounded Warrior Project, or K9 for Warriors, three causes close to Lynn's heart.
