James Thomas Hostetter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Thomas Hostetter of Windsor, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hostetter and Vera Hostetter (Finley); his former wife Nelda Hawyer; his children, Vicki Shafer, Debra Elson and Thomas Lee Hostetter; and his sister Joyce Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann (Frank) of Mattoon; his sons, Dennis Hostetter (Robin) of Windsor and Randall Hostetter (Rhonda) of Mattoon; his stepsons, Ralph Wayne Cox of Mattoon, Mark Cox of Georgia and Matt Cox (Nicola) of Florida; his sons-in-law, Ralph Shafer of Mattoon and David Elson of Windsor; his brother Charles Hostetter (Debbie) of Charleston; and his brother-in-law John Walker of Windsor. He is also survived by many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Jim's name to the Garrett-Baldridge American Legion Post 725 in Windsor and mailed to Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 52, Windsor, IL 61957.
