She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lane and Anna Lane (Hickman); her son Larry; her granddaughter Cynthia; and her siblings, Bernette, Bert, Howard, Maxine and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Fontaine (Nancy) of Windsor, Terry Fontaine of Windsor and Linda Van Vleet (Morris) of Rockwell, NC; her grandchildren, Morris Jr. Van Vleet (Lynn) of Lake Lure, NC, Judy Fendrick (Scott) of Terre Haute, IN and Aaron Fontaine (Tricia) of Brownsburg, IN; her great grandchildren, Tiffany, Kylie, Logan, Kelsey and Jaxon; and her great great grandchild Tylen.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Weston Cemetery in Rensselaer, IN with Reverend Richard Eident officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bernice's name to the Palm Terrace of Mattoon and sent to Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, %Bernice Fontaine, 207 N. Oak, Windsor, IL 61957.
