He is survived by: his wife Melissa Graves; his sons, Jason Robert Hoots of Galesburg and Ryan Lee Hoots (Daylen) of Normal; his granddaughters, Jolene and Sadie Hoots; his brothers, Cliff Hoots (Lynn) of Bluffs, Albert Hoots (Linda) of Bluffs, Donald Hoots (Tammy) of Winchester and Norine Jefferson of Winchester; his nephew Matthew Jefferson (Erica); his great-nephew Henry; and his great-niece Eliza Jefferson.
