It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Elaine Lashmet (Winchester, Illinois), born in Lime Springs, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Zook and Gladys Zook; her husband William Richard; her son Mark; her sister Pat Nelson; her granddaughter Heidi Hornbeek; and her son-in-law Larry Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Kathie Hornbeek (David) of Glendale, AZ, Mary Taylor of Henderson, NV, Michele Lashmet of Springfield, Anita Reed (Bill) of Athens, IL, Rita Ator (Steve) and Angela Barber. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
