He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sparks and Olive Jackson Sparks; his wife Barbara Sparks; his sons, Kevin Sparks and Roger Sparks; and his siblings, John Sparks, Delbert Sparks, Clarence Sparks, Walt Sparks, Robert Sparks, Eva Rollins, Helen Mixer, Bertha Lou Baker, Rosie Bradley, Roberta Thompson, Pearl Wells, Liza Craft, Marjorie Sparks and Leona Kirker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Butler (Steve) of Baylis and Amy Jones (Donald) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Justin Harris of Jacksonville and Elizabeth Gourley (Andy) of Winchester; his great grandchildren, Zachary Harris of Jacksonville, Ian Harris of Jacksonville, Derrick King of Winchester, Benjamin King of Winchester, Steven Gourley of Winchester and Kaylee Gourley of Winchester; and his sister Rita Hamm of Normal.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daws Family Funeral Home - Winchester (657 N Main St, Winchester, IL 62694). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
