He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse A. Pence and Anna L. Wright Pence; his brother Wilbur Pence (Martha); and his parents-in-law, Theodore and Eleanor Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Evans of Winchester; his daughter Shirley Ehlert; his grandchildren, Sarah Ehlert, Tim McClenning and Huntley Ann Ehlert; and his brother Donald Pence (Shelby) of Murrayville.
