She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Smith and Margie Hughes Smith; her husband Albert Benton of Winchester; her children, Cheryl Benton of Springfield, James Benton (Lucinda) of Pueblo, CO and Rodney Benton (Karol) of White Hall; and her siblings, Leona Spradlin of Springfield, Barbara Adams of Jacksonville, Toni Hilliker (Glenn) of Jacksonville and Hardin "Butch" Smith.
Memorials are suggested to the Manchester Cemetery.
