He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gansz and Elsie Swearingen Gansz; and his siblings, David, Larry (Fred Gansz), Wanda Berhinger and Judy Beckman (Erma Hall).
He is survived by: his former wife Connie Bishop; his close friend Fredie Baker of Winchester; his children, Jeff Gansz (Shelly) of Winchester, Jennifer Miller of Jacksonville and Craige Gernigin of Carrollton; his adoptive son Richie Burby (Crystal) of Alsey; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hernandez, Lucas Gansz, Jacob Miller, Gracie Miller, DJ Gernigin, Kora Barnard, Krissa Gernigin, Autumn, Caleb Savage and Joey Burby; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Kaden, Brianna, Charlie, Macie, Riley, Annabelle, Meah, Kohen and Ameila; and his siblings, Darrell Gansz, Mary Zimmerman and Brenda Gilbert.
