With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Franklin McCollum of Winchester, Illinois, born in Hornbeak, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay McCollum and Minnie Morton McCollum; his wife Marilyn Norris; his brother Robert McCollum; his daughter Donna Lightfoot-Roe; his grandson Josh McCollum; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Karliegh Norris and Hudson Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Florine Southworth (Lance) of Arizona, Cecil McCollum Jr. of Illinois and Mark McCollum (Lorri) of Kansas; his sister Vera Owens of Tennessee; his stepchildren, Brenda Spitzer of Maryland, Marc Norris Sr. (Lori) of Winchester, Cara Baur of Winchester, Kristin Norris of Marion and Holly Norris of Winchester; his grandchildren, Jason Young, Caitlyn Richardson, Kristofer Lightfoot, Amber Lightfoot, Mark McCollum and Jeffery McCollum; and his stepgrandchildren, Becky Shireman (Aaron), Emily Thurman (Matt), Xena Hogeland, Marc Norris Jr. (Stephanie), Charles Norris (Kristen), Makayla Brown (Brent), Jocelyn Gilbert, Mariah Gilbert, Ruth Baur, Lacey Norris, Ashley Norris, Kaylee Pace and Kristin Norris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
