He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith Hayes and Anna Ellen Coop Hayes; his parents-in-law, John and Mary Pusich; and his siblings, Richard Hayes, Donald Hayes, Wayne Hayes, Elmer Hayes, Vivian Tokraks, Dorothy Settles, Violet Koski, Elsie LaRosa and Maxine Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Hayes; his daughters, Debbie Rossetto (Mike) and Denise Day (Dennis); his grandchildren, Jana Rossetto, Michelle (Mike), Dee (Dustin) and Daniel Day; his great grandchildren, Nik Kennedy, Jayden Ellinger, Bella Kennedy, Jayse Ellinger, Mia Woods, Dalton Ellinger and Maggie Woods; and his sister Betty Vannucci.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials to be made to Gillespie Methodist Harvest Feast, Stock The Boxes or Donor's Choice.
