She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Barber and Marcella J. Barber (Black); her husband Milton E. Monson; her daughter Denise Henson; her son-in-law Thomas Henson; and her sister-in-law Marsha Barber.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Monson (Meena) of Chum Phae and Eric Monson (Liliya) of Lake Thunderbird, Illinois; her brother Thomas Barber; her grandchildren, Debra Fraze (Jay) of Tarpon, Christina Wallace of Eau Claire, Ashlie (John Maitrejean), Stephanie (Jeff Ahlers), Alexis Monson of Saint Anne, Taylor Monson of Coal City, Tiffany Monson of Kewanee and Vlad Stepanov of Princeton, Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Kyah Robinson, Jessica Fraze, Trista Fraze, Parker Wallace, Jada Doval, Miles Maitrejean, William Maitrejean, Emily Maitrejean, Madison Ahlers, Dallas Ahlers, Rayleigh Ahlers, Bentley Ahlers, Cassandra Collins, Donovon Collins, Walker Riley and Emersyn Knippenberg.
