He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Milton and Valedda Milton (Shreffler); his wife Phyllis Laverne Kamis; his siblings, Sherman Milton, Dale Milton and Fostine Schwark (Wilber); and his half-sister Vesta Klafta (Leonard).
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Holm (Irvin) of Wilmington, Celeste Milton of Wilmington, Vicky Weidling (William) of Wilmington and Heather Rogers (Paul) of Kankakee; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Holm (Karen Patterson) of Palatine, Megan Corlett (Joshua) of Wilmington, Dr. Robert Weidling (Morgan Gonder) of Fairway and Brooke Rogers of Ames, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Emma Corlett and Ingrid Holm; and his brothers, Wendell Milton (Patricia) of Manteno and Robert Milton of Kankakee.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Wayne's memory to the FIrst United Methodist Church of Wilmington, 401 East Kahler Road, Wilmington, IL 60481.
