Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vonda Smith of Wilmington, Illinois, born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 65, on February 5, 2023. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret "Peggy" Webb (Starkey); and her husband Gary Smith. She is survived by: her father Owen Webb of Wilmington; her children, Dale Smith of Wilmington, Derek Smith (Tiffany) of New Lenox and Dustin Smith of Wilmington; her granddaughters, Kendall, Kali and Kloe Smith of New Lenox; and her siblings, Tonya Hagemeyer (Ken) of Glendale and Kevin Webb (Paula) of Wilmington. She is also survived by four brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those wishing to attend are welcome to assemble at the funeral home on Monday morning beginning at 11:00 a.m. for a procession, which will depart at 11:30 a.m. Committal services are scheduled at 12:00 p.m.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Vonda's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
