He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew William and Rosalia Lerner, Sr.; his wife Mary Ann Lerner; his siblings, Elizabeth Goerres, Carolina Buckley, Dolores Tippett, Josephine Walsh, Frances Roe, Andrew Lerner, Jr., Robert Lerner and Raymond Lerner; his grandchildren, Sarah Lerner and Dennis Holm, Jr.; and his children-in-law, Patricia Lerner and Raymond O'Gorman.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lerner, Jr. (Mary) of Channahon, IL, Edward Lerner of Mokena, IL, Joseph Lerner (Holley) of Danville, IL, Patricia O'Gorman of Frankfort, IL, Therese Ondera (Lee) of Crestwood, IL, Joyce Holm (Dennis) of Crystal Lake, IL, Rose Umlauf (Brad) of Lowell, IN, Catherine Lerner of Fife Lake, MI, Angelique Johnson (Lawrence) of Chicago, IL and Barbara Lerner of Lombard, IL. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be for Masses.
