It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sanchez of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Victoria and Santana Sanchez; his mother Henrietta Sanchez; his siblings, Tony Marquez and Joaquina Marquez Alamillo; and his aunt Jacqueline Lomeli.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Sanchez of Joliet and Robert Sanchez of Minooka; his grandchildren, Isaac, Isaiah, Alfonso, Cuda, Ryan, Lance, Emberlynn Victoria and Sator Gamble Sanchez; his siblings, Sandra Suarez (late John), Mike Marquez (Connie), John Romo (Katherine) and Monica Marquez Murphy; his brother-in-law Tom Alamillo; his niece Michelle Wonnell Moreno (Dan); and his friends, Ralph Blythe (Rhonda) and Rick Barnhart (Bev). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Peter Claver Center for Karate would be appreciated.
