Adkins; his siblings-in-law, Russell Adkins (Lois) and Josephine Lewis (Levi); his granddaughter Heidi Gruetzmacher; and his siblings, Robert, Milton, Virginia Sanders (Dale) and Marjorie Nutt (Robert).
He is survived by: his children, Janice Monson of Wisconsin, David Monson (Pam) of Wilmington, Bruce Monson of Wilmington and Ron Monson (Carol) of Braidwood; his daughter-in-law Linda Monson of Arizona; his grandchildren, Caroline Norrington (Scott) of Diamond, David Monson Jr. of Wilmington, Sharon Monson of Wilmington, Craig Monson (Katie) of Arizona, Donald Monson of Braidwood, Lisa Smith (Nathan) of Pontiac, Matt Gruetzmacher of Braidwood and Gary Johnson of Piper City, Illinois; his sister Shirley Marable (Joe) of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Yvonne Monson of Niles; and his pet Muffin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ray's memory to the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington, 401 East Kahler Road, Wilmington, IL 60481.
