Ray Schumacher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Schumacher of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Lovington, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Schumacher to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Schumacher and Bernice Schumacher (French); his sister Ruth Monferdini; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Monferdini and Charles Heiple.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Schumacher (Favero); his children, Shelley Tekeste (Tewodros), Ryan Schumacher and Philip Schumacher (Brandi); and his grandchildren, Haben Tekeste, Dominic (Kai Schumacher), Emberly Schumacher, Mackenzie (Noah Blair) and Zade (Izabella Kluck). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ray's memory to the Wilmington Firefighters Benefit Association.
