It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Lynn Crawford of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Louise "Bingo" Kozel; her grandparents, Phillip, Ruby Palmer, Lester and Macie Crawford; her cousins, Jesse Palmer and Kelly Shewmake; her uncle Hound; and her pets, Mijo and Bambam.
She is survived by: her father Johnny Lee Crawford, Sr. of Wilmington; her children, John Robert Sherman of Flora, Daisy May Louise Sherman of Florida and Hannah Roseann Beatty Sherman of Florida; her grandchildren, Navei, Blakesly, Makynlee, Presley, Illianna, Nevaeh, Raelynn, Novalyuh and Storrianna May; her pet Mercury; her siblings, Johnny, Jr., Kendall Kozel of Channahon, Jake Kozel of Wilmington and Brittany Palmer of Wilmington; and her nieces and nephews, Johnny Crawford III, Vada Crawford, Audriana Kozel, Zayden Palmer and Alexander Palmer. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, as well as numerous cousins.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Penny's memory to her family for their distribution.
