She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Orvin and Blanche Elizabeth Benson (Wright); her husband Dick; her brother Roy; her parents-in-law, Joseph Grover and Mary Angela Spangler (Baskerville); her aunt Leonidas Wright; her siblings-in-law, James Spangler and Mary K. Spangler; and her cousin Mary Riley.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Spangler (Nola) of Wilmington, Robert Spangler of Estes Park, Thomas Spangler (Kathy) of Wilmington and Diane Housman (Tom) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Mike Spangler (Tracy) of Bettendorf, Rick Spangler of Bettendorf, Jennifer Morris (Dan) of Godley, Jackie Park (Rob) of Manhattan, Brian Spangler (Danielle) of Avon, Ashley Ingram (Ben) of Wilmington, Tiffany Housman of Phoenix and Jimmy Housman of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Reece, Carter, Alivia, Miley, Lexi, Makayla, Jackson, Gavin, Lucas, Mason and Evelyn; her brother Jack Benson (Kathie); her sister-in-law Lori Spangler of Rock Island; her nieces and nephews, Sheryl DaRosa (LeDarcy) of Downers Grove, Jane Bonick (Jeff) of St. Pete Beach, Jimmy Benson of Atlanta, Georgia and Tom Spangler (Vicky) of Wilmington; and her cousin Rachel Riley of Chicago.
