It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen D. Webb of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Webb and Mildred Webb (McKinnon); his wife Peggy Webb; his children, Vonda Smith and Keith Webb; his son-in-law Gary Smith; and his brothers, Dale Webb and Joe Webb.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Hagemeyer (Ken) of Glendale and Kevin Webb (Paula) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Dale Smith, Derek Smith (Tiffany), Dustin Smith, Nicole Moran (Michael), Lindsay Hagemeyer, Jordan Hagemeyer, Colin Webb (Ashley) and Emily Harrington (Mike); his great grandchildren, Kendall, Kali, Kloe, Richie, Eli, Silas and Spencer; his siblings, Ronald "Ed" Webb of Connecticut and Mildred "Diane" Horath of Florida; and his close friend Louie Fox of Joliet.
Committal services with full military honors are scheduled at 12:00 p.m.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Owen's memory to the charity of the donor's choosing.
