She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Harsh and Ellen Harsh (Herb); and her daughter Jo El Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Larry Shoemaker; her children, Carl Shoemaker (Karen) of Manteno, Christen Longfellow (Dave) of Portage and Amy Shoemaker of Steubenville, Ohio; and her brother Don Harsh of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
