It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Bigham of Wilmington, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Bigham to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Hale and Stern; her husband Elvis Roston Bigham; and her grandson Etienne. She is survived by: her children, Steven Bigham (Denise) of St. Eustache and Paula Cooper (Robert) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Ross Cooper (Christine) of Athens, Andy Cooper of Wilmington, Emilie Bigham, Desroches (Eric Philbert) of Canada and Benoit Bigham; and her great grandchild Alexis Philbert of Canada. She is also survived by two sisters in law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (700 Williams St, Wilmington, IL 60481).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Mary's memory to Uplifted Care Hospice in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
