With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene M. Sternberg of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sternberg and Irene Farrell Sternberg. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Schmitt of Wilmington, Mark Schmitt of Lockport and Lisa Curl of Fallbrook, CA; her sister Marionette "Babe" Venturi of Chicago; and her grandsons, Jacob Curl, Sean Schmitt and John Schmitt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
