Marilyn Kerr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Kerr of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Portland, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marilyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Clinton and Esther June Cummins (Daniell); and her sister Phyllis Lynch. She is survived by: her husband John E. Kerr; her daughters, Dyanna Swisher (Robert, III) of Godley and Deborah Rutherford of Wilmington; her siblings, Kenneth Cummins (Pamellen) of Plano, Illinois and Linda Riley (late Larry) of Effingham; and her brother-in-law David Lynch of Flint. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
