He was predeceased by: his father Robert Youngquist; and his father-in-law Rudy Colognesi. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Youngquist; his wife Carla Youngquist of Wilmington; his daughters, Alyssa Lambert (Chris) of Minooka and Jill Youngquist (Leighton Kraft) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Bennett, Emma, Elliot and Sophia; his brothers, John Youngquist (Dawn) of Wilmington and Jim Youngquist (Jan) of Lincoln, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Tony Colognesi and Juli Colognesi; his mother-in-law Jenny Colognesi of Coal City; and his close friends, Chris and Beth Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
