He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Walter; his siblings, Lynn Smith (Steve), Karen Miller (Mark) and Sharon Sobestanovich (John); his close friend Dan Heitschmidt; his stepchildren, Amanda Carston and Kelly Carston; and his nieces, Allison, Hannah and Rachael.
