He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hughes and Orphie Hughes (Hoy); and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his children, Tony Hughes (Monica) of Wilmington, Angela Burnette (Chris) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Andrew Hughes (Jane) of Custer Park, Illinois; his grandchildren, Emily Hughes, Lyric Hughes and Lilian Etchoe; and his brothers, Ronald Hughes (Rosetta) of Wilmington and David Hughes (Barb) of Channahon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
