He was predeceased by: his parents, Maureen Chaney and Ron Chaney; and his grandparents, James, Jean Chaney, Maurice and Mary Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Chaney; his children, Corey Chaney (Jamie), Mark Shell (Rachel), Bethani Hincherick and Kaylee Heap (Kevin); his grandchildren, Melia, Cruz, Talon Hincherick, Annabelle Shell, Milo and Oliver Heap; his sisters, Becky Hansen (Rick), Pam VanDuyne (Mike), Michele Chaney (Eric) and Kathy Horwath (Steve); and his friends, Kevin Webb, Fred Yax and Dennis Vice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts to the family for their distribution.
