He is survived by: his spouse Pearl; his daughter Simone Kommer (Michael) of Mokena, Illinois; his grandchildren, Valerie Kommer of Chicago, Erik Kommer of Chicago and Patrick Kommer (Mekenna) of Clinton, Iowa; his great grandchild Dane; his sister Cheryl Wilson of Joliet; and his niece Heather Dropsky.
