With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Vandegraft of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Turner and Julia Ruth Turner; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Alice Harris; her nephew Robert Vandegraft; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Vandegraft and Mary Vandegraft.

She is survived by: her husband James "Robert" Vandegraft; her children, Angela McFarland (Michael) of Gulf Shores, Wade Vandegraft (Candice Thomas) of Fairbury and Laura Stava (Jason) of Temecula, California; her grandchildren, Colton Wollenzien (Brooke) of Chebanse, Nicholas Stava of Temecula, William McFarland of Gulf Shores, Thomas Vandegraft of Fairbury and Victoria McFarland of Gulf Shores; her siblings, Cheryl Smith (David) of Richmond Hill, Melanie Turner of Savannah, Georgia and Charles Turner (Dana) of Andersonville, Tennessee; her siblings-in-law, Richard Vandegraft of Gladstone and Dolores Vandegraft of Custer; and her nephew Porter Turner of Andersonville, Tennessee..
