She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hood and Mary Hood; and her siblings, Wilma Eichorst, Helen Henke, Edna Coldwater, Charles Hood and James Hubert Hood.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Eugene Pogliano, Sr.; her children, Tammy Kahler (Dave Hazelton) of Wilmington and Melvin "Eugene" Pogliano, Jr. of Coal City; her grandchildren, Jessica Penfield (Jeremy) of Ottawa, Anthony Pogliano (Amanda) of Coal City, Hannah Pogliano of Wilmington, Avery Pogliano of Coal City, Mitch Hazelton of Wilmington, Jake Hazelton of Wilmington and Steffanie Hazelton of Fort Collins, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Stella Penfield, J. R. Penfield, Jaxon Trofimchuck, Huxlee Pogliano, Roxzen Pogliano and Weston Penfield; her brother Phil Hood (Esther) of Webster City, Iowa; and her aunt Catherine Ward of Maryville, TN. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Gladys' memory to Kuzma Care Cottage or Uplifted Hospice of Kankakee.
