She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold D. Schutten and Bertha V. Schutten (Johnston); and her sisters, Donna Lybarger and Sharon Pitts. She is survived by: her brother Richard Schutten of Wilmington; her nieces and nephews, Debbie Lybarger of Joliet, Cyndi Harvey of Braceville, David Pitts of Wilmington, Stephen Pitts (Lisa) of Wilmington, Michele Allott (Jeremy) of Florida and Lisa Hendershot of Wisconsin; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Marissa, John David, Derek, Nick, Emma, Devin, Abby, Britney, Allison and Destiny.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gayles' memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street, Wilmington, IL 60481.
