He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Elvin and Blanche Mary Hish (Stybr); and his sister Gale Czys. He is survived by: his wife Julianne Jackson; his daughter Marnie; his son-in-law Jonathan Jones of Wilmington; his granddaughters, Grace and Tracy; his uncle Donald; his aunt Velda Hish of Bloomington; his siblings-in-law, Dave Czys of Wilmington, Mary Ellen Rivero of Prescott, Francine Jackson of Denver, Terrence Jackson (Helen) of Glenview and Timothy Jackson (Michelle) of Ashville; his cousin Bernard Vigna of Gardner; and also Dean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gary's memory to the Illinois Veterans Home Volunteer Services, 1 Veterans Way in Manteno, Illinois.
