With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric J. Schutz of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Werner and Anne Marie Schutz (Sabaitis); and his brother John Sabaitis. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne; his children, Eric, Jr. (Maggie) of Minooka, Ryan (Heather) of New Lenox, Kyle (Jessica) of Orland Park and Madison of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Eloise, Everett, Zahara, Jozyah, Lydia and Mara Schutz; and his siblings, Juanita Degroot (Duane), Ed Schutz (Chris), Tom Schutz (Cathy), Allen Schutz (Jenn), Bill Schutz, Charles Schutz and Michael Schutz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Eric's memory to his family for their distribution.
