She was predeceased by: her parents, David Foshee and Mary Foshee (Townsend); her husband Ray Brookshire; her siblings, Henry, Charles, Lucille, Pearl and Sarah; and her husband Seymour.
She is survived by: her children, William Fonner (Vickey) of Montgomery and Elizabeth Fonner (Tom Atkins) of Grant Park, Illinois; her grandchildren, Robert Crysel of Chicago, Shea Atkins, Daniel Atkins of Grant Park, Amber Nilsson, Matthew Fonner and Joshua Fonner of Montgomery; and her sister Carolyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
