He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Duffy and Anna Duffy (Logier); his brothers, John Duffy and David "Ike" Duffy (Carol); and his nephew Brian Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Duffy of Wilmington; his children, Mark Duffy (Pam) of Wilmington, Luke Duffy (Jill) of Wilmington and Molly Schulte (Hans) of Channahon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Kiley, Anna Duffy, Kelsey Heidrich (Chris), Quinn, Bree, Sydney, Troy Duffy, Isaac and Nora Schulte; his great grandchildren, Kolby and Kynlee Heidrich; his sisters, Dorothy Reese (late Tom) of Bloomingdale and Mary Olson (Richard) of Pontiac; and his sister-in-law Kathy Duffy of Pontiac. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Don's memory to: Kuzma Care Cottage in Wilmington, University of Chicago Medicine Oncology Department, and Providence Catholic High School.
